Parliament of Uganda holds a special sitting to honour the former State Minister for Gender, Labour and Social Development, Rtd Col Charles Engola. Tuesday morning was cool and calm day around the parliament of Uganda as fallen minister for Gender, Labour and social development was brought.

Engola was shot dead by his body guard Wilson Sabiiti, who later on also shot himself in a neighboring salon last Tuesday. The body reached parliament at 9:00am, and the sitting started at 2pm, were Members of parliament made a farewell to the colleague. An official service for the late has been organized by the government to the general public on Wednesday 10th /2023 at kololo independence grounds to say farewell for the Minister.
The late minister is expected to be buried on Saturday in oyam district. Rest in peace.
