Liverpool have failed to win any of their three opening games for only the fourth time in their history. This follows losing the last recent Match to Manchester United with 2-1 goals at Old –Trafford on Monday. Manchester united and Liverpool were both looking for their first win of the season after stuttering starts to their Premier League campaigns.
Manchester United had to dig deep for their 2-1 victory over rivals Liverpool after the pressure was on following their poor start to the season. Jadon Sancho set the tone early with a goal that saw United take the lead in the first half this gave Manchester Uniteda big confidence in the game. The United forward calmly struck his effort past Alisson as United flustered Liverpool. Liverpool picked up the pace in an attempt to find an equalizer as the first half came to a close but United weathered the storm and doubled their lead through Marcus Rashford fewer than 10 minutes into the second half.
Jurgen Klopp’s men pulled one back through Mohamed Salah with a neat finish at the back post to set up a nervy ending to the match but United managed to hold on and secure their first win of the season ,this rejuvenated back the funs and supporters of Manchester United and deep feeling of the past week of losing 4-0 goal .
