St Lawrence University wins Mubs in the last minutes of the game. Nazar Benjamin scored for Mubs in the 57th minute but st Lawrence worked hard and got an equalizer in the 67th minutes by Bruno Bunyaga keeping him a top scorer in the league with 11 goals in eight games, Bunyaga’s goal was caused by a mistake by Mubs goalkeeper Otyengi Andrew.
Just after six minutes of St Lawrence 1st goal Michael Kayongo scored a second goal for the team and it was a winning goal for St Lawrence University. Its win means it has the advantage going into next week’s return leg in Nakawa where the winner on aggregate will progress to the final.
The two sides will meet again next week on Tuesday for the return leg at the Mubs arena in nakawa and Mubs, needs a big win.
