The political leaders in mbale district raise concern on the road to 2026 elections.
This comes shortly after the electoral commission released its road map on Wednesday and asked the government to fund its budget, in preparations to 2026 elections.

Without contradictory in ideas, the political leaders in the region have a unified thought dispite their differences in parties.
Abass wetak the NRM civic front activist in mbale district, he says that this road map has come early before the elections and it is to divert people from the developing programs to political debates.
Magrate, a member of the forum for democratic change (FDC) says that the road map should be kept until it’s a year to the road map.
Following other political parties, the NUP chairman in mbale town Fazali Mubende says that this will be the most expensive election they have seen as they wait for the party president to address the issue.
